Joanne graduated from USD School of Law and has been a practicing attorney for over twenty years. After spending ten years doing civil litigation, she opened a practice working in transactions and helping various businesses such as real estate developers, product manufacturers, and contractors. She then became in-house counsel to a renewable energy start-up and became its General Counsel. After four-and-a-half years, she returned to private practice to help start-ups set up their legal frameworks and negotiate complex agreements at reasonable rates and flexible payment structures. With her well-balanced background of litigation, in-house counsel, and transactional work, she is adept at advising on many issues a business may encounter. She's a long-time resident of San Diego, California.
